The goods or money taken by badaniyat and its profit must be returned:

(1) If a person fraudulently receives any amount or item from someone that does not meet his claim, he shall return such amount or item and the interest charged on such amount as per the law from the day of receipt of such amount or item until the day of return, or the profit or return obtained from such item.
(2) If there is any loss or damage due to the amount or item received as per sub-section (1), he shall also pay compensation for the same.
